Notifications

The activity owner, as well as anyone mentioned in the conversation thread, will receive notifications for each new message.
Notifications can be configured via Admin (Professional/Performance) or by contacting the support team (Essential/Starter).

Notification options include:

  • Bell icon

  • Push notification (Android/iOS)

  • Email notification

  • Pop-up notification (Web)

Pending Notifications

Each user can view their pending notifications from both the mobile app and the Web version.

In the App

  • App Icon: The number of unread messages is displayed on the Sage Sales Management app icon.

  • Push Notifications: When a push notification for a new message is received, the user can directly access the conversation thread.

  • Dashboard: A "Pending Conversations" section appears at the top of the dashboard, showing the number of unread messages. This widget will not appear if there are no new messages.

  • Activities Menu: By applying the "Pending Conversations" filter, only activities with unread messages will be listed. On the activity widget, a message icon and a counter will indicate pending messages.

  • Within the Conversation: A dividing line marks the boundary between read and new messages, with the label "New".

On the Web

  • On-screen Notification: An alert appears for pending conversations, which can be clicked to access the related activity in the Activities module, with the conversation thread in the reading panel.

  • Activities Menu: An orange alert appears on the "Activities" menu to indicate unread conversations.

  • "Pending Conversations" Filter: Displays only activities with unread messages.

  • Timeline Panel: The "My Conversations" section shows the number of unread messages and organises them from the most recent to the oldest. In the reading panel for the selected activity, the "Conversation" tab provides access to the thread.

  • Within the Conversation: A dividing line separates read messages from new ones, with the label "New".
