For detailed information about each plan, you can check 👉 here.

You can start using ForceManager effectively and productively from day one!

If you have an Essential, Starter, or free trial license, you can easily configure your custom fields and value lists, allowing you to be more autonomous and tailor ForceManager to your specific needs from the start.

You can customise your fields with your own validation rules and visibility control, which means you have the power to shape the platform to fit perfectly with your unique business processes.

By being more autonomous in configuration, you can enhance your sales team’s experience and efficiency, making ForceManager work exactly the way you need it to.

How to Create a Field from Configuration

To add a new custom field, simply click on your profile in the upper right corner of your screen and access the administration menu.

Once there, in the Preferences section, you can access both Customize Fields and Value Lists.

When you access Customize Fields, you will see all existing fields in the various entities (Companies, Contacts, Opportunities, etc.).

In the table, three icons will visually summarize the main characteristics of each field listed:

Read-only

Visible

Mandatory

You can also filter the list by clicking the Filter button.

A dropdown will open on the right side of the screen where you can filter by:

Description: Filter by the descriptive name of the field. It is case-insensitive.

BD Name: Filter by the database name of the field.

Field Type: Standard or extra field.

Tab: If you have tabs, you can filter and see the list of fields grouped under the same tab. You can only select one tab at a time.

Read-only

Dynamic Field

Environment

You can clear any applied filters by clicking on the top of the filter dropdown.

You can apply filters and navigate through the different entities without needing to filter again as they remain applied.

Value List Configuration

The Value Lists configuration section also features an easy-to-use interface that will show you a general list of existing value lists, as well as the option to Edit, Duplicate, or Delete each one.

Value lists allow you to adapt ForceManager fields to your company’s terminology on multiple occasions. This way, you can select one of the options from the lists you create to add new custom fields. For example, you can create a new category in Companies to indicate which business sector your contacts belong to, or which distribution area a contact corresponds to.
