The ForceManager integration with Microsoft Teams is available from both the web and mobile versions of the app. This integration will allow you to view and access ForceManager CRM data directly from the Microsoft Teams platform.

1.How to add ForceManager inside Microsoft Teams?

From Microsoft Teams, you must go to the "Apps" section and enter "ForceManager" in the search bar:

Click on the "Add" button to add ForceManager CRM.

Once you have added it, you must enter your ForceManager credentials:

2. What does the Microsoft Teams integration allow?

  • Improve your sales team's communication flow thanks to the quick search and share of the ForceManager data (accounts, contacts, and commercial opportunities) through the MS chat and other features.

  • Better prepare for each customer meeting by searching and accessing CRM data instantly from anywhere in Microsoft Teams with our message widget.

  • Share information about Accounts, Contacts, and Business Opportunities to better run internal meetings organized on Microsoft Teams between Sales Managers and their Sales Reps.

  • Efficiently organize and collaborate with your sales team and customers thanks to the personal and intelligent CRM dashboard integrated in Microsoft Teams. The dashboard tab offers you a panoramic view of your business agenda to track Recent Activities, Goals, upcoming Tasks, and Events in real-time, as well as join your next Video Call in one click.

    All the data from the ForceManager CRM is available automatically in Microsoft Teams and vice-versa to help you improve performance, generate more impacts, and close more sales.

3. How does the Microsoft Teams integration work?

Once you add the ForceManager integration in Microsoft Teams, you can access all the app data through different tabs located at the top of the window (Dashboard, Events, Goals, Activities, etc.)

In the Dashboard tab, you can find different widgets to explore the most relevant information about your account. You can also add more elements of your interest to this menu.

For example, using the "Events" widget, you can view the meeting details with an account, providing you the necessary information to jump to your video call without leaving Microsoft Teams.

This integration simplifies the follow-up of your accounts by booking the next meeting from Microsoft Teams and simultaneously registering the necessary data in ForceManager CRM, such as relate the call with an opportunity:

Inside the ForceManager integration, you can use the search bar (located at the upper right of the window) to search any detail regarding an Account, Contact, Opportunity, etc., that matches in ForceManager:

In every tab, you have direct access to the ForceManager app to view or edit any element:

Thanks to the ForceManager integration with Microsoft Teams, you can instantly share an Account, Contact, or Opportunity details through your chats without switching to the ForceManager app.

This feature helps you add context to a conversation with your team and customers with all the necessary information at any time.

4. How to share ForceManager information through the Teams chats?

Once you have added the ForceManager app as described at the beginning of this article. Go to the Chat menu within Microsoft Teams, and at the bottom of the window, you will find the toolbar where you must click on the ForceManager

Next, a window will be displayed where you can authenticate yourself by clicking on sign-in.

After logging in to your ForceManager user, you can start sharing information with your team, partners, customers, etc.

To share the details of an Account, Contact, or Opportunity, access the chat of a contact or group you want to share the data with and then click on the ForceManager icon, which is just below the text box.

In this window, you have three tabs to share information: Account, Contact, and Opportunity. You also have a search bar in each of these tabs to enter the entity's name you are looking for and then select it from the suggestions list.

When selecting the entity, the system will automatically attach a Card with the detail of the selected entity in the text box. Also, you can type additional information just below this Card.

Finally, send the message to the chat.

5. What options and types of cards do you have available?

The Card you share regarding Account, Contact, or Opportunity includes general data filled in ForceManager.

The Account card shows you the account's picture, name, status, type, responsible, address, email, phone, and website.

The Contact card shows you the profile picture, name, account responsible, email, and phone number of the contact.

The Opportunity card shows the opportunity's name, status, responsible, value, win probability, and estimated close date.

You also have the "View in ForceManager" link below the information to automatically access the entity data in ForceManager.

6. Log Sales Calls in ForceManager from Teams

In addition to the functionalities mentioned above, you can also use the ForceManager app during a video call with a customer or prospect without leaving MS Teams. This integration saves you time updating your account's Activity, Contacts, Opportunities and instantly access its related documents simultaneously while having a video call.

Forget about transcribing your notes after a sales call and start reporting data directly into your CRM!

7. How to Log Sales Calls in ForceManager from Teams?

To get started, set up the app ahead of time to prepare for your meeting:

  1. First, open the meeting invite, and in the upper menu of the screen, select "More actions."

  2. Then, "Add an app."

  3. Choose the ForceManager app to add it.

Note: If the ForceManager app doesn't appear in your recent apps, use the search bar to find it.

When setting up the app for the first time, you must log in to your ForceManager account by entering your credentials and verifying your identity.

Finally, link the MS Teams meeting to the corresponding one in your ForceManager calendar and start using the app.

8. What actions can you perform once you set up the app?

Once you have linked your meeting, the app first shows you the Activity tab where you can perform the following options:

  1. You can add and edit contacts.

  2. Register the Activity type of your call.

  3. Type as many notes as you need.

  4. Link the call with an Opportunity.

In the Opportunity tab, you can visualize all Opportunities in detail and create a new one by clicking on the "New Opportunity" button.

From the last tab, download the Documents related to the account and use them during your call.

Important: Keep in mind that some information may be sensitive. When sharing your screen, you can close the ForceManager side panel by clicking on the X. All the information you've added will still be there once you reopen it.

If some of your video call attendees are not in your ForceManager contacts, you can easily add them by clicking on their profile picture and the Add button.

You can also update the contact information by clicking on the Edit button. This action will take you to the contact editing window within the ForceManager app.

Finally, by clicking on "View in ForceManager" below the account name, you will be redirected to the account widget within ForceManager:
