1. What is the Sage50 UKI Connector and What Does it Offer?

The Sage50 UKI Connector is a tool that integrates and synchronises data between Sage50 UKI and ForceManager. It ensures that key entities such as accounts, sales orders, invoices, contacts, users, and products are kept up-to-date across both platforms. This integration facilitates smoother operations and better data management.

2. How does the two-way sync work for Accounts/Customers?

Customer accounts are synchronised in both directions.

The Sage50 UKI field serves as the unique identifier for each record, and the same company code is used in ForceManager.

Accounts coming from Sage50 UKI to ForceManager are marked as read-only to prevent edits from syncing back to Sage50 UKI.

Deletions are not propagated from ForceManager to Sage50 UKI. If a record is deleted in Sage50 UKI, it is marked as deleted in ForceManager.

3. What happens to Sales Orders and Quotations?

Sales Orders and Quotations are synchronised both ways between Sage50 UKI and ForceManager. This allows for efficient management and tracking of sales activities across both platforms.

4. How are Sales Orders and Invoices handled?

Sales Orders and Invoices are synced one-way from Sage50 UKI to ForceManager. This means that any sales orders or invoices created in Sage50 UKI will be reflected in ForceManager, ensuring up-to-date financial data.

5. How are contacts integrated between Sage50 UKI and ForceManager?

Contacts can be created in both platforms and will sync bidirectionally.

Modifications made to contacts in either platform will be reflected in the other.

Deletions are not propagated from ForceManager to Sage50 UKI. If a contact is deleted in Sage50 UKI, it is marked as deleted in ForceManager.

Only records identified as contact addresses in Sage50 UKI are integrated into ForceManager as contacts, and vice versa.

6. How is Product data integrated?

Product data is synced one way from Sage50 UKI to ForceManager.

For products where stock does not apply, the field will display a dash.

Product images are integrated using the images present in Sage50 UKI.

Deletions are not propagated from ForceManager to Sage50 UKI. However, if a product is deleted in Sage50 UKI, it will be marked as deleted in ForceManager.

If a product is set as inactive in Sage50 UKI, it will be shown as not available in ForceManager.

7. How does the User and Admin data sync work?

User data is synchronised one-way from Sage50 UKI to ForceManager. This helps in managing user information efficiently. For admin users, assignment is handled only during creation or when the salesrepId is null, preventing loss of visibility for the original creator.
