What is Sales Campaigns and How Can It Help You?

Sales Campaigns is a Sage Sales Management feature designed to improve the organisation and execution of commercial campaigns. It allows you to segment customers and prospects, assign tasks to sales teams, and track the progress of each campaign in detail.

With Sales Campaigns, your team can execute targeted sales strategies and increase efficiency in customer management.

What Does This Feature Offer?

You can create specific campaigns for a selected group of companies in Sage Sales Management. This allows you to track which companies have been contacted by a sales representative and which still need to be reached.

By assigning a start and end date to the campaign, sales teams will know how much time they have to visit or contact companies, inform them about updates, temporary offers, cross-sell, or gather customer insights.

What Types of Campaigns Can I Create?

You can create as many campaigns as necessary to achieve your goals, such as:

  • Promoting a new product

  • Offering discounts

  • Cross-selling

  • Distributing samples

  • Collecting information from potential customers

The Sales Campaigns module is flexible enough to accommodate all your objectives.

How to Create a Campaign in Sage Sales Management

💡Managers and team leaders have the necessary permissions to create and edit campaigns.

Campaigns must be created from the web application.

The Campaigns menu (available only with the add-on) allows you to create campaigns and view them grouped into different sections depending on their status:

  • Active: Campaigns currently running within the defined timeframe.

  • Drafts: Campaigns still in the setup phase.

  • Completed: Campaigns that have ended, with access to their data (statistics, responses, etc.).

  • Scheduled: Campaigns that have a planned start date and will activate automatically when the time comes.

Additionally, you can duplicate completed and active campaigns. The new campaign will be saved in the draft folder with all copied data, except for the results.

  • Campaign Objective: Define your goal (for example, generating new leads, increasing conversion rates, etc.).

  • Start and End Dates: Set the campaign’s duration.

  • Responsible Users: Assign the users or teams responsible for executing the campaign.

Step 3: Audience Segmentation

You can filter customers and prospects based on criteria such as:

  • Geographic location

  • Industry sector

  • Level of previous interaction

Step 5: Launch the Campaign

Once all details are set, review and activate the campaign. The sales team will automatically receive their assigned tasks and can start working on them immediately.

Tracking and Evaluating Sales Campaigns

How to Monitor a Campaign

From the Sales Campaigns section, you can track each campaign in real time, including:

  • Number of completed activities

  • Results obtained in each phase

  • Recorded customer interactions

To make tracking easier, Sage Sales Management allows you to filter campaigns by user, date, or status.

Measuring the Impact of a Campaign

To evaluate the effectiveness of a campaign, you can analyse key performance indicators such as:

  • Number of contacts reached

  • Number of conversions or generated sales

  • Response rates to calls or emails

  • Average conversion time

These insights will help you optimise future campaigns and improve sales strategies.
