Forms by Voice is a Sage Copilot feature that allows you to fill in CRM forms using natural language voice notes. The system automatically detects the fields and populates them with the information you provide.


Compatible entities

You can use this feature with the following entities:

  • Accounts

  • Contacts

  • Opportunities

  • Activities

  • Events

  • Tasks

  • Orders (sales records)


How does it work?

Step-by-step

  1. In the record creation or editing view, tap the Sage Copilot icon.

  2. A dialog will open with the options Record voice note or Cancel.

  3. Tap the microphone button to start recording. You can scroll through the form while recording to check available fields.

  4. You can pause and resume recording at any time (as long as you don’t cancel the process).

  5. If you open a selection field while recording, you can choose the correct option without memorising all values. Tap Resume to continue.

  6. Once finished, tap Submit for the assistant to process the note.

  7. A summary will appear showing the detected fields and how many were completed.

⚠️ Only empty fields will be completed. Fields with pre-filled or default values will be ignored to avoid overwriting data.


Frequently Asked Questions

Which languages are supported?

Voice input is supported in any language. The result will be displayed in the user’s interface language.

Can I update values by voice?

No. Only empty fields can be completed. To update a value, remove it manually before or during the recording.

Does it work offline?

No. An internet connection is required to process the voice note.

What if not all fields are completed?

AI is used to interpret the note. Some fields may not be correctly completed. You can reprocess the same note without recording it again.

Can I save a note and process it later?

No. The process must be completed immediately (save or cancel).

Can I record multiple entities in one note?

No. Each note is linked to a single entity. Recommended options:

  • Register the main entity first, then the related one.

  • Or record separate notes and link them afterwards.

Is there a usage limit?

  • Without the add-on: usage counts toward the 150 voice actions limit.

  • With the add-on: there is no defined limit.

Does it recognise line items in sales records?

Yes. It completes both the header and item lines linked to the product catalogue.
