Key Features
ForceBI is a tool designed to provide Sage Sales Management users with greater autonomy and flexibility in business data analysis. Without the need for advanced technical knowledge, you can create customised dashboards in minutes, tailored to your specific business needs.
Autonomous Dashboard Creation
ForceBI allows users to create personalised reports without writing code. With an intuitive interface and preconfigured graphic blocks, you can choose what to measure, the type of chart (bars, lines, etc.), analysis variables, and applicable filters.
Practical applications: Analysis of sales, business opportunities, activities, and metrics related to accounts and contacts.
Dynamic and Real-Time Visualisation
Dashboards display real-time updated data, enabling users to have a clear view of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Example: Monthly sales trends.
Widget Editing
You can easily and intuitively edit each widget added to your dashboard. In the top-right corner of each widget, you’ll find three icons that allow you to:
Expand
Enlarge the widget to the centre of the screen to view data in the selected format and as a table.
Edit
The edit menu provides options to change the graphical appearance of the data, adjust axes, modify displayed data, and apply advanced filters to show only relevant information.
“More Options” Menu
From this menu, you can:
• Duplicate the widget.
• Download it as an image or Excel file.
• Delete it.
Adjusting Widget Size and Position
Customising your dashboard goes beyond editing the content and data visualisation of widgets. You can also adjust their size and position to suit your needs.
• Editing and downloading:
Select a widget by clicking on the top-left corner to edit or download it.
• Deleting:
If you decide to delete a widget, the system will require you to manually confirm the action. This ensures you don’t accidentally lose all the work put into its configuration.
FAQ
1. Are there any limitations on the number of records?
There is no strict limitation, but the larger and more complex the query, the longer it may take to return the response. In cases involving large volumes of data, such as the sales example shown, it may take several seconds or even minutes. The more specific the data, the more efficient the response will be.
2. Can I export the charts to Excel or PDF?
Yes, it is possible to export the charts to Excel. However, currently, it is not possible to directly export query results to Excel from ForceBI. If you need to obtain the data in Excel format, you can access Force Manager entities, such as activities, and download the relevant records.
3. Can I measure data for offers sent by email?
Yes, it is possible to filter and group email activities that include the sending of offers, as long as the email subject is configured correctly (for example, "send offer"). If you don’t have a specific parameterisation for sending offers, you can manage this from the opportunity or offer flow, changing the status to "offer sent" once the email is sent.
4. What is the cost of ForceBI?
ForceBI is a free add-on included in all licences, so there is no additional cost to use it. You can access it without any extra charge.
5. Who can view the ForceBI dashboards?
All users can view the dashboards created in ForceBI. However, only users with administration permissions can generate their own metrics. If another user needs to generate metrics, this functionality can be enabled through support or by a user with the appropriate permissions.
6. What is the difference between the CRM dashboards and ForceBI?
The main difference is that ForceBI dashboards allow for greater customisation, as you can define your own parameters and criteria. The standard CRM dashboards are more limited and static, while ForceBI enables you to make simpler and faster queries with more flexibility.
7. How can I learn to use ForceBI?
You can access articles and tutorials in the support base. Additionally, the Customer Success team is available to guide you and help resolve any questions or issues with using ForceBI.
8. How can I measure the status of an offer (won, lost)?
To measure the status of offers, you need to have the field correctly configured in the entities, whether in the offer or the related opportunity. After that, you can analyse the data with ForceBI by grouping the information you have gathered.
9. Is it possible to connect with Power BI?
Yes, you can connect Sage Sales Management with Power BI via the API. This functionality is available in the Starter and Professional licences.
10. Can I create personal dashboards in ForceBI?
It is not possible to create completely personal dashboards, but you can limit their visibility based on the environment and user permissions. Dashboards can be shared within the same environment with users who have the appropriate permissions.
