Step 3. Import Accounts and Contacts
In ForceManager you can perform a mass import of accounts and contacts, but there is a previous step that you must consider first.
To perform this process please follow the next steps:
Step 1. Personalize ForceManager fields
IMPORTANT: if you need to personalize some fields in the tool according to your needs, before you import your data base you must edit or add the ForceManager fields you need from the Customized field menu. |
For example:
If you need to add additional data in ForceManager (for example adding more roles to contacts), you must first create this field in ForceManager and then upload the import template with this completed information.
To know how to personalize these fields, read the Customized fields article of Accounts and Contacts.
Step 2. Import your accounts and contacts
Once you have adapted your ForceManager fields according to your needs, you can import your Accounts and Contacts.
If you need to know how to import data to both menus, click here.
IMPORTANT: when you are editing the Accounts and Contacts template, the “Accounts name” column has to be exactly matching in both templates so contacts will properly related with their accounts. |
