How to check whether your team’s email and calendars are synchronised

Check each user’s synchronisation status in Sage Sales Management Admin and identify connected services, the provider, and any errors.

How to check a user’s synchronisation

  1. Open Sage Sales Management Admin.

  2. Go to the Users menu.

  3. Select the user you want to check.

  4. Open Email and calendar synchronisation.

What information can you view?

If the user’s email or calendar is not synchronised, this section displays a message indicating this.

When a connection exists, you can view the following fields:

  • Email sync: indicates whether email synchronisation is enabled.

  • Calendar sync: indicates whether calendar synchronisation is enabled.

  • Bidirectional sync: indicates whether the calendar synchronises in both directions.

  • Provider: the service or connection type used, such as Gmail, Microsoft, or IMAP.

  • Email address: the email address associated with synchronisation.

  • Connection date: the date the connection was established.

  • Synchronisation status: indicates whether synchronisation is working or has a problem.

The email and calendar fields show whether the user synchronises one service or both.

Bidirectional synchronisation allows events created in the provider’s calendar to appear in Sage Sales Management, and vice versa.

How to interpret the status

  • Synchronisation running: indicates that synchronisation is working correctly. The status appears in green.

  • Synchronisation errors: indicate that there is a problem. The status appears in red.

Check the status text to understand the situation, as well as the colour displayed.
