Usage limits in Sage Sales Management

Understand how the resources available in your licence are managed

Written by Jon Trasobares

Summary

Your Sage Sales Management plan sets the capacity for resources, such as records and storage.

This article explains usage limits. You’ll learn how to check your usage and what happens when you reach a limit.

What are usage limits?

Usage limits define how much of each resource your licence provides. These limits help Sage Sales Management run efficiently and support your organisation’s needs.

Limits apply to:

  • Accounts.

  • Contacts.

  • Opportunities.

  • Storage.

  • Integrations and API usage.

  • Administration resources.

Each plan provides different capacities for these resources.

Check your licence usage

To check your current usage, go to:

My Profile > Manage Plan > Usage

You can see how much capacity you’ve used and how much remains.

Check each plan’s capacity

Your plan determines the resources and capacity you can use.

For the current capacity of each plan, check the official Sage Sales Management pricing page. You can also compare the available resources and plan features there.

What happens when you reach a limit?

Sage Sales Management keeps your existing information when you reach a usage limit.

If the limit prevents you from adding records, free up capacity or increase your licence allowance before adding more.

Sage Sales Management notifies you when you approach or reach a limit.Usage notifications

You can check resource usage in the web application and mobile app.

Notifications help you monitor usage and act before you reach a limit. Depending on the resource, you’ll see notifications in lists or tables, or when creating records.

Increase your capacity

You can increase the capacity of some resources as your needs change.

Contact your Sage Business Partner or the Sage Sales team to discuss the available options.
