Check-in: log visits and report by voice in Sage Sales Management

Check-in allows you to log customer visits directly from the Sage Sales Management mobile app, either manually or using voice with Sage Copilot.

Overview

Check-in is a feature designed for sales teams to:

  • Log visits in real time

  • Capture information using voice or manual input

  • Generate automatic summaries with Sage Copilot

  • Continue follow-up actions in a structured way

It is primarily used on mobile and is designed to capture information immediately after a customer interaction.


Where it applies

This feature is available in:

  • Activities

  • Companies

  • Calendar

  • Dashboard

Available on mobile (Android and IOS)

Requirements:

  • You must be within the geolocation range (500 metres by default)

  • The customer must have a registered location


How it works

1. Start a Check-in

Access it from:

  • A calendar event

  • The Dashboard

  • A company record

Tap the Check-in button.


2. Choose how to log the visit

Voice Check-in (recommended)

Use Sage Copilot to log the visit by speaking.

Manual Check-in

Complete the form with the visit details.


3. Capture the information

If you use voice, Sage Copilot will guide you with key prompts to structure your report:

  • What you did

  • Who you spoke to

  • What was discussed

  • Next steps


4. Automatic result and suggested actions

4.1 Report processing (Sage Copilot)

As soon as you finish recording, Sage Copilot automatically analyses the voice note and generates a structured text summary.

This summary includes:

  • Visit details

  • Agreements and planning

  • Next steps


4.2 Suggested actions

On that same screen, you will see pre-configured action cards to continue your workflow:

  • Log activity

  • Plan follow-up (create a task or event)

These actions allow you to move forward directly from the summary without manually re-entering information.


5. Work offline (offline mode)

Even without an internet connection, you can record your report.

  • The audio is stored on your device

  • No information is lost

  • You can continue working

The system will automatically send the report once your connection is restored

You can associate contacts with the visit to record who you interacted with.

Sage Copilot

Enables voice Check-ins, generates automatic summaries, and suggests actions to continue the workflow.
