What is single sign-on?

Single sign-on, known as SSO, lets users access several services with the same account.

In Sage Sales Management, users can sign in with their Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account. They do not need to remember an additional password for the application.

How to enable single sign-on

  1. Open Sage Sales Management Admin.

  2. Go to the Users menu.

  3. Select the Authentication tab.

  4. Enable single sign-on for all users or only for specific profiles.

Once configured, each user’s record shows whether they use standard authentication or single sign-on.

How sign-in works

When a user accesses Sage Sales Management, the process depends on whether they are already signed in with their provider:

  • If they are signed in to their Google or Microsoft account in the browser, they go directly to the application.

  • If they are not signed in, the Google or Microsoft authentication page opens. They enter their password and authorise access to Sage Sales Management.
