What can you do from the Users menu?

View Sage Sales Management users, manage their roles and permissions, and apply changes to several users at once.

Written by Jon Trasobares

The Users menu lets you manage everyone who has access to Sage Sales Management. Each user has credentials, such as a username and password, to access the application.

How to view users

You can view users in different formats:

  • Hierarchical view: displays users in a tree based on your organisation’s defined hierarchy.

  • Table view: displays all users in a table that you can sort alphabetically.

  • Environment summary: shows the total number of users and their distribution across environments.

Available actions

From this menu, you can:

  • Create, edit, duplicate, or deactivate users.

  • Define each user’s roles and permissions.

  • Update several users at once, for example, to change their manager or environment.

How to manage several users at once

  1. Open the table view.

  2. Use filters if you need to narrow down the list.

  3. Select users using the checkboxes in the first column.

  4. Select an action at the top of the menu: Edit, Activate, Deactivate, or Send password.

These actions let you manage the selected users without opening their records individually.
