Sales Campaigns: FAQ and troubleshooting

This article gathers the most common questions related to Sales Campaigns in Sage Sales Management.

Why can’t I edit a campaign?

Campaigns may have editing restrictions depending on their status.


Active campaigns

Active campaigns only allow certain elements to be modified, such as:

  • End date.

  • Description.

  • Attachments.

  • Added companies.

It is not possible to modify:

  • Questions.

  • Campaign type.

  • Start date.

  • Campaign subject.


Completed campaigns

Completed campaigns cannot be edited and remain available for review and export only.


Why can’t I remove companies from an active campaign?

Once a campaign becomes active, assigned companies can no longer be removed.

However, you can still add new companies while the campaign remains active.


Why can’t I edit campaign questions?

Questions and forms can only be modified when the campaign is:

  • In draft status.

  • In scheduled status.

Once the campaign becomes active or completed, forms and questions are locked.


How do sales reps know they have active campaigns?

Sales users receive different notifications related to active campaigns.

For example:

  • Notifications when a campaign starts.

  • Informative emails on the start date.

  • Final summaries when the campaign ends.

They can also review active campaigns from the Dashboard and the Campaigns menu in the mobile app.


How can a sales rep complete a campaign?

Sales reps can complete campaigns from different areas of the mobile app.


From the Campaigns menu

By accessing the Dashboard or the Campaigns menu directly.


From Magic Card

When the user is near a company, a campaign-related Check-in option may appear automatically.


From the company record

By registering an activity linked to an active campaign.


From the Activities menu

By creating a new activity associated with a company included in an active campaign.


What types of campaigns are available?

Sales Campaigns supports two main campaign types.


Check-in

The campaign can only be completed through a physical visit registered from the mobile app.


Any activity

The campaign can be completed using:

  • Calls.

  • Meetings.

  • Comments.

  • Other related activities.


Can I duplicate a completed campaign?

Yes. Active or completed campaigns can be duplicated.

The new campaign will automatically be saved as a draft and will keep:

  • Configuration.

  • Companies.

  • Forms.

  • General settings.

Results and statistics are not duplicated.


What happens if a company belongs to multiple active campaigns?

If several active campaigns are associated with the same company, the user must choose which campaign they want to complete when registering the related activity.


Can I complete campaigns from the web application?

No. Campaigns can currently only be completed from the Sage Sales Management mobile app.
