Synchronisation status with Sage

Written by Training
Updated today

The synchronisation fields in Sage Sales Management allow you to check the connection status between your data and Sage at any time.

Thanks to these indicators, you can see whether a record is synchronised, pending, or has an error, and act with confidence without relying on technical checks.

Overview

Synchronisation indicators show the real status of your records (companies, contacts or orders) in relation to Sage.

Their purpose is to provide clear and understandable information about:

  • Whether the data is correctly synchronised

  • Whether synchronisation is pending

  • Whether an error has occurred

This allows you to make quick decisions without needing to review the connector or perform technical checks.

Web version

Indicator in Accounts' list

In the Companies list, you will see a synchronisation icon next to each record.

This icon allows you to identify the synchronisation status at a glance.

Status in Accounts' file

When you access a company, just below the main actions you will see a coloured label indicating the current status:

  • Light green: Synchronised

  • Red: Synchronisation error

Below this, you will find the Synchronisation status details block, which includes:

  • Synchronisation status: current state (e.g. Synchronised or Synchronisation error)

  • Last synchronisation: date and time of the last process

  • Synchronisation detail: description of the result

Hover pop-up (Connexion Details)

At the top of the Companies module, you can hover over the Connected indicator to see more information.

A window will appear with the Connection details, where you can see:

  • Which application the entity is connected to (Connected to: Sage)

  • The date of the last synchronisation

  • A brief description of the type of synchronisation

This helps you understand how data is exchanged between Sage Sales Management and Sage.

Filter by synchronisation status

In the filter panel, you will find the Synchronisation status option within Standard filters.

You can filter records by their status:

  • Synchronised

  • Pending synchronisation

  • Pending review

  • Not synchronised

This filter helps you easily locate records that require attention.

Synchronisation label in the record

When you open a company or contact, just below the name you will see a coloured label showing the current status:

  • Light green: Synchronised

  • Red: Synchronisation error

This allows you to quickly confirm whether the data is up to date in Sage.

Synchronisation section in details

Within the record, you will find a section called Synchronisation, located below the Highlighted fields.

Here you will see:

  • Last synchronisation: date and time of the last process

  • Synchronisation status detail: description of the result

Example:

“Synchronised: the account is correctly synchronised with Sage.”

If there is an error, a message will be displayed explaining the reason or indicating that a review is required.
