What is the synchronisation status widget?
This widget helps you understand, step by step, how records are synchronised with Sage. Its purpose is to give you clear visibility of the process and avoid the need to access advanced or internal settings to manage the synchronisation.
From here, you can check whether prices are validated, whether Sage is generating the record, or whether the process has been completed successfully.
Synchronisation stages
The synchronisation follows four main stages:
1. Validating prices
The system checks the prices of each record line.
Estimated duration: around 1 minute.
If you edit any data during this stage, the validation restarts.
2. Prices validated
All prices have been confirmed as correct.
At this stage, the Synchronize with Sage button becomes available.
An informational message explains what will happen next.
3. Synchronizing
Sage starts generating the record in its system.
Estimated duration: at least 15 minutes. It may take longer if the computer or server running Sage is switched off or unavailable.
4. Synchronized with Sage
The record has been successfully created in Sage.
From this point on, only additional fields can be edited in Sage Sales Management.
Key behaviours
If you edit information after prices have been validated, the validation process restarts.
If you select manual prices, the validation step is skipped and prices are considered validated.
If synchronisation fails, an error message is displayed directly in the widget.
Once the record has been generated in Sage, only complementary information can be edited in Sage Sales Management.
